Abraham's wife died on 17 June 1869. On 11 July 1870 Abraham was living with his son Wesley Husbands and his daughter Lydia Husbands in the Brandywine Hundred, New Castle, Delaware. In the 1880 Federal Census Abraham Husbands was still living in the Brandywine Hundred, New Castle County, Delaware with his son Wesley Husbands and daughter Lydia Husbands. Abraham Husbands died on 31 January 1897 in Rockland, New Castle County Delaware at the age of 89. He was buried on 3 February 1897 in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in New Castle County, Delaware. |

He served during the Revolutionary War as a private under the command of Captain Hay in Col Love's Regiment for 2 years in the North Carolina Line. In 1790 William Husbands lived Richmond, North Carolina with his wife Sally Watkins, his sisters Ann Husbands and Nancy Husbands 791. In 1800 he lived in Hillsboro, Randolph County, North Carolina with his wife Sally and his children William Sheriff Husbands, Tabitha Husbands, John Husbands and Elijah Husbands 794. In 1810 William Husbands and his family were living in Rockingham, Richmond, North Carolina. From 1800 to 1812 William and Sarah added the following children to their family: Thomas Jefferson Husbands, Sarah Ann Husbands, William Husbands, James Husbands, and Laura Emily Husbands. After 1810 William moved his family from North Carolina to Alabama. In 1832 his sister Ann partitioned the State of Alabama for a pension, on behalf of her brother William Husbands. On July 2, 1933 the pension partition was granted 792 , 793. William Husbands died in 1836 in Greensboro, Greene County, Alabama. |

He married Elizabeth Moore, the daughter of John Moore and Sarah Meredith, on 23 December 1752 in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. Their children were Veazey Husbands (1770-1831), Rebecca Husbands (1773-*), an unknown female child and William Husbands (1780-1829). Veazey Husbands was a loyalist with the Ninety-Six South Carolina Tories, during the Revolutionary War and held the rank of Colonel. He was killed together with Major Patrick Ferguson on 9 October 1780 at the battle of King's Mountain, York County, South Carolina. At the time of his death he lived in the Lower Creek of the Catowba in Burke County, South Carolina. |

John J. Husbands III was born in December 1736 in Cecil County, Maryland, the son of John J. Husbands Jr. and Mary Veazey. He married Marie Mary Wolbach, the daughter of Adolphus Wolbach and Cathernine Vandever, on 23 December 1762 in Old Swede's Church, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. Their children were: Catherine Husbands, Mary Husbands, Peter Husbands, Rebeca Husbands, John Husbands, and Adolphus Husbands. On 7 March 1778 John J. Husbands enlisted in Captain Paul Raulston's Company, Western District, Brandywine Hundred, New Castle County, Delaware 702. His rank was Corporal in the Continental Line. John Husbands died on 9 October 1780 in New Castle, New Castle County, Delaware. |

Sarah Ann Husbands was born on 17 January 1826 in Kent County, Delaware, the daughter of Benjamin Husbands and Mary Ann Buckingham. She married Abraham Moor II on 15 December 1840. They had 3 children. Sarah died in Kent County, Delaware on 26 September 1889, at the age of 63. |
